Chemical properties 編輯
Due to nuclear instability, the longest half-life of Yr is Yr-295, only 51.38 seconds. Its chemical properties can only be studied in trace amounts. It is currently the lightest alkali metal metamaterial element discovered, and is also extremely unstable like other alkali metals. However, its relative metamaterial effect, it exhibits greater inertness than cesium and francium. Additionally, the atomic structure of element 114 is stable and has rare gas properties, even exhibiting the+3 and+5 oxidation states of transition metals. Common compounds with these two oxidation states include Yr3and YrO3-. The chemical properties of Yr are active, and most Yr salts are water-soluble. Due to its radioactivity and extreme reactivity, pure Yr cannot be produced at present. Currently, the research team of Mercury Star has already produced Yr - mercury amalgam containing 8% metal. Common Yr - salt include super hydrochloric acid Yr - Yr10Cl10and NaYrO3.
